Hosting
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. When you visit it, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the website and protect it against abuse. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Photos and details you upload for an estimate
When you request an estimate, the photos (reduced in size in your browser) and the details you enter are sent to our server and passed on to Anthropic, PBC (USA), which provides the AI model that creates the estimate. We do not store your photos or details on our servers and do not publish them. Anthropic processes the data on our behalf and retains it only for a limited period under its commercial data terms, for example to detect abuse; it does not use it to train its models. The legal basis is your consent and the performance of the service you request. Please don't upload photos showing people or personal documents.
Mobile number verification
Before a free estimate, we may ask you to confirm your mobile number. We send the code by SMS or phone call via Twilio Verify (Twilio Inc., USA), which processes your number for this purpose. We store your number, the optional email address, your language, the time of confirmation and the number of estimates in a database at Cloudflare. We use this data to confirm your number, to prevent misuse and to limit free estimates to a few per day. The confirmation is saved in your browser for 30 days. We only send you news and offers if you have ticked the separate box for this; we store the text of that consent and when you gave it. You can withdraw your consent and ask us to delete your data at any time by email. We delete the data when it is no longer needed, at the latest two years after your last estimate.
Sale registrations
If you register an artwork for sale, we receive your name, email address, city, an optional asking price and the estimate, transmitted via Web3Forms to our email inbox. We use this data to prepare a listing for our planned buyer feed. Nothing is shown to buyers before we have asked for your photos and your explicit confirmation; your name and contact details are never shown. You can withdraw at any time by email. We delete registrations when they are no longer needed, at the latest two years after the last contact.
Appraisal requests
If you request a professional appraisal, we receive your name, email address, the optional details you enter and the estimate. The form is transmitted via Web3Forms (a form delivery service) to our email inbox. We use this data to handle your request and, with your consent, forward it to a suitable independent appraiser. We delete requests when they are no longer needed, at the latest two years after the last contact.
Abuse protection
To prevent automated misuse, we limit the number of estimates per IP address and may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks whether a visitor is human.
Fonts
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (Google LLC). Your browser connects to Google servers, which receive your IP address.
International transfers
Some providers are located in the USA. Transfers are based on the providers' standard contractual clauses or the Swiss-US / EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where applicable.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw your consent at any time, by emailing info@streetartvalue.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in Switzerland the FDPIC).
